Guy Phillips

Mr. Guy Phillips is a founder of NuOrion Capital. He is a trusted advisor to NCAP’s investment committee on all consumer-sector deals.

He was formerly Global Head of the Entrepreneurs Coverage Group at UBS, which was responsible for all corporate finance activity with the firm’s entrepreneurs and families. In that role, he sat on the Executive Committee for the UBS LatAm Wealth Management Executive Committee. Prior to that role, Mr. Phillips was Global Head of the UBS Consumer Products & Retail Group and was a member of the Investment Banking Division Executive Committee. He was also the Head of the UBS Private Equity Coverage Group for the EMEA region.

Mr. Phillips has extensive M&A and capital markets experience with large capitalization companies, entrepreneurial families, hedge funds and private equity funds. He has extensive experience advising clients on transactions in the emerging markets. Mr. Phillips has worked at UBS in both the New York and London offices.

He is Chairman of the Americas for Spayne Lindsay, an independent corporate finance advisor focused on the consumer sector. He serves on the board of directors of Lummus Corporation (an industrial company) Carter Control Systems (an intralogistics company) and the advisory board of the Smithsonian Libraries.

Mr. Phillips has an MBA from Harvard Business School and received his undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College.
